Care home, Markfield

We are proposing to bring forward a new care home on part of land to the north of Leicester Road. This website gives you the opportunity to look at our proposals and share your comments on them.

By way of background, Charterpoint is an East Midlands company, based in Nottingham. We specialise in the provision of high-quality senior living accommodation. We have identified a need for a modern, purpose-built care home to meet the needs of older persons living in the Markfield area.

In preparing our scheme we have sought to provide a high quality and neighbourly development that sits within in the existing landscape, maintaining and enhancing the existing boundary hedgerow along Leicester Road.

We consider ourselves to be respectful, approachable and considerate neighbours during both the construction and operation of the development.

Following a period of public consultation, our planning application will be submitted to both Charnwood and Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Councils. The Councils will be formally consulting residents for your thoughts. Any comments should be submitted directly to the Council, which will consider them as part of the planning process.
